Look what I found at Joann's.Com!!!!

It Is A Holiday Garland Featuring The Bells I Created !!!!

See it at Joann's

These were so much fun to make...The bells themselves and the berries are sugared with glue and glitter. The seam binding was soaked and wrung out with hubbies left over coffee : p. The lace at the bottom of the bells is actually doilies that were scrunched up in hand and vintage photo distressed within an inch of their lives....Be careful here as tearing is a issue. And burlap ribbon that we are in love with this year!..How fun is that? Now for the beautiful snowflakes and pine cones  created by Andrea Worthen with a one of the fabulous cricut cartridges.

DON'T OPEN DEAD INSIDE

Because it is October and Halloween we felt that it was okay to let our inner "freak" out over at the Stamping Chef!
And Tamara has drawn up another one of her amazing images that fit this very challenge.

Now I love Halloween and must say that I didn't watch this show for the first 3 seasons because I was afraid of all the Halloween scary stuff. But still "I love Halloween" So when my husband came in the door saying honey, tonight we eat dude food (frozen pizza) and  catch up on a show that everyone is talking about. I was thinking..Ohhh mannn, more left turns??  :/
But NO! It was Daryl and Rick and they were kicking zombie butt teaching me some learnin on how to survive the zombie apocalypse.
Clearly this is needed information and much appreciated!
We Love

Zombified by the stamping chef

Yes I know i have a alien mark on her....my marker slipped "}

What a way to Welcome the Halloweenie Season!!!

Today I have been at the table making friends with some Zombie pals of mine when someone...."tried" to take my adhesive! Dont'cha just hate that? So I fixed the problem and put his stealing arm on display to ward off others ") This will be a partial tutorial or inspiration on how to do a small amount of blood and guts so if ya'all are squeamish...this is not the post for you "9

The blood is plain old red dye of any kind  meaning alcohol ink , distress, or acrylic paint watered down then coated over with glossy accents....The real trick here is to soak gauze and stretch it out .

Put a label on it!!

Good Thursday Morning!
I wanted to share one of the areas of my house.
I love to decorate..I do....and if it has meaning or history then the pieces I use make me even happier.
You will see I have labeled my foyer with our name in 12" letters .
This was an amazing amount of fun and honestly while I was painting these they just looked cool splayed out literally everywhere")
The little wooden kiddy trike was my fathers when he was little...he is 73 today.
the small black pictures on the shelf are of my Grandmother Annabelle and her Sister Jenny when they were  teenagers. Ahhh Those wacky days that dad would let you and your sis take the horse and buggy to meeting alone. Wild ones there! ") The acrylic cog was given to me from a my dear friend Jackie (finder of great junk) .  I have a lot of my own work here. The bird house, file drawer , birdie cart , little burlap file boxes , and the little suitcase. These will all be linked to when I first posted them on here so you can get better detail. My fathers first pair of welding glasses still in the tin box carry case. My first peanuts book too (which I might add was released on my birthday October 2, 1963) so we sorta share a birthday. I love my creative world and hope you will too.
(Please excuse the bad shots I have been trying to home remedy my old camera)
" not so much a rebel anymore"
