DCWV/Hampton Art Blog Hop


    • Hello and welcome to day one of the two-day DCWV and Hampton Art Holiday Hop! 

      DCWV and Hampton Art are two companies that go above and beyond to provide a wide selection of products from classic, to vintage, to trendy and modern. So, when we decided to team up it was only natural that we would want to show you some variety.

      Day #1 of our hop is all about vintage! Whether you are talking lace and pearls and soft weathered colors or distressed, grungy, and aged, if you love all things vintage we have some beautiful projects to show you today!

  1. oh wow! this is absolutely stunning! I think this is my favorite vintage project so far! I would love to have this hanging on my tree as an ornament..it is just full of texture and dimension.

  2. I have been waiting to see what you did with that stamp set. It is beautiful, just beautiful. The bead work and the layered flowers, so pretty. Is she stamped on vellum? She is just so pretty. I can't stop saying pretty...it's just SO PRETTY! I just did some beading in the center of a Tim Holtz poinsettia and it unraveled :( Do you have any advice for how you did your beading? I used threading at first, but then ripped through the paper. I ended up using beacon 3 in 1 and just piled them up, but then they dry like that, in a pile. Thanks!

    1. Dear Shelley, I use the mini wire to bead all my florals "usually" some times i do glue especially if the flowers are smaller...Also I did indeed use vellum/glasseine which is old school :)
