It's Monday!!!!

You'all know what that means don't you? It is time for another Love to Create Challenge sponsored by QKR Stampede  and Dreariedolls.

I used an image from QKR and the title is Bundled Up..I just thought how I had bundled my kids up so many times when they were younger as we spent the largest portion of their childhood in Nebraska and often even Halloween costumes had to be bought to fit over the coats and mittens. Craft Club December 2012

This is the final of a years worth of craft club meetings.  What happens is that we have 12 or 6 members each taking a month to sponsor/host making a meal for all and bringing an idea and base supplies for your craft that you are teaching. And BAM! It's chick night with food frolic /crafting ..can it get any better???? This December was at "Diane the Awesome" house/ compound and we had open pit BBQ and Dump cake in cherry and apple and smores and ...did i say cowboy soup ? Good grief! Thank you again Diane and Eddie. Diane supplied us with various cigar boxes and we went to crafting. This is my result as I had to take mine home half finished because I talked more than crafted..and ate..and then talked and laughed")

Love to Create Challenges "Anything Goes"

Okay we are up and running on this fine Monday morning and today over at Love to Create the theme is "Anything Goes" being sponsored by Sassy Studio . I created this first piece and am hoping to create an entire tag series for next year "because it is late in the seasonal game for me to be creating just about anything" :) Okay so before you ask my creation was made from gauze, copics, sizzix brick embossing plate, coordinations paper "sanded", metal embellishments and vellum. Enjoy and I hope to see more Christmas ghost by you next year ! ( I am trying to starting a trend)

I have been given the Go-A-Head..the show off! It's the big Kahuna! I am so excited /honored and all around proud . This was a while in the making and I am truly so blessed and honored to have had one of my pieces chosen. I love Somerset Studio ..all of their publication are truly the best of every medium that can and could be found and full of inspiration. IT''s another Love to Create Challenge!!

This weeks sponsor is Meljen digital stamps. They are so whimsically cute and always interesting. I had no choice but to do the Yeti as this house is 100% big foot believers and YES....that show BFRO is watched every week!  Part of the challenges was to use non- typical Christmas colors. So ....pastel, lacy  paper and a teal and peach scarf wrapped it up. 

DCWV The Evergreen Stack

Today I am showing you some little candies made from the "Evergreen stack from DCWV. Lots of fun and easy peasy. Cut 12x12 paper into 1" strips...fan fold on the half inch until you have entire strip folded. glue into flat rosette. Take sandwich bag or what ever you have on hand and tie each end..Wha La.....These also look great as a garland. Hope the rest of your weekend is festive and fun!

Scor Pal & DCWV Autumn Melody

 Good day my friends! Today along with my fellow design team members I  am giving a shout out to Scor Pal and my beloved DCWV . We have all made you a project using both items to both inspire and awe.....Are you awed??? :) My little book is made using the accordian fold technique on my Scor Pal. I know you have all mostly seen this before but still love the results! (UPDATE) I am sorry I didn't put the details on here further ya all. The mini is 3 X 3 inches. It is the accordian fold technique some call it meander  and I have to admit than when searching,  out of all the tutorials I found,  I prefer Beate Johns best. So here is her link and do have fun. This pattern has been around since the ..well since Oragami was used to tie toga's...or sarongs..or kimono's You get the picture. Have fun!

That time of the week again and today over at Love to Create we have Sassy Studio's and some scary-cool images....I love this time of year :)  Mine is Ursula Honey and I got just a bit carried away with the green..and I am pretty certain that where ever she has been living is polluted.  I hope you enjoy.

This is a regular 12x12 fold out purse...you could put more in it. I have seen files and some with lipstick tags, compacts and such....I did so much with the clasps and straps that I was plum tuckered by the time I finished....Maybe I will do more later. Enjoy!

Random Blog Blatherings

Today whilst getting ready to pack my studio....I looked around to realize WHolly CRAP! That is a lot of crap! You are all aware that I am hands down a 100% product ho..I can't help if a bag of newly recieved or bought embellies,  paper or a random tube of something in a bazillion variables makes me feel complete. I have hocked merchandise for so long now that I feel almost dirty....I do ..HONEST! Right up until that next random box comes to the door...you all know the sound. Vroom vroom vroom the truck gears down , then you hear the small squeal of the impatient driver opening the slide door whilst plugging the emergency brake.....By this point your heart is in your throat and the body pause has commenced....(inner) voice asking, is it my house or next doors?? BZZZZZZZ inner squeal as you shoot into action towards the front door ..always a small bit o fear that he will leave with out leaving the goods. Ahhh satisfaction. Yes this is a feeling I have long been addicted to and have come to the very brave conclusion that it isn't the stuff in the boxes.....BUT THE HIGH OF THAT KIND OF EXPECTATION.  Instantly I feel the kind of excitement that makes my entire body pee shiver ") I wish you all a pee shivering great day!

DCWV The Sweet Blossom stack

Today's stack for Die Cuts With a View is (The Sweet Blossom) . This stack literally brought so many ideas to mind and it was hard to choose just one. It has a water colored motif with geraniums and poppies and the herringbone patterns AWESOME!!!! I also included some of our very own Blue Moon beads . Have fun, feel inspired and may your day turn out creative:)

Wild Splendor stack from DCWV

Today's stack from DCWV is Wild Splendor. This fall stack is lovely and features a tag page in it's contents that can easily be made into artist trading cards. Today I made tags to display it's versatility. 

DCWV and the Bouquet De Fleur Stack

This blue  is only one of the wonderful color families in this stack, it also features pink,purple, and green all with glitzy glitter and patterns to compliment one another. I also used this months LO challenge sketch to make this layout a winner! 

DCWV and the Neon Chic stack

 Today I am featuring for DCWV a Flutterby Mirror  I have constructed for my Granddaughters room. I made the butterflies using some punches and spellbinders with the Neon Chic stack . The Butterfly centers were made from blue moon beads and the mirrors themselves are our very own DCWV Home line. (please excuse the small smudge as i didn't realize till late that it was there. This project was super fun and easy and will look great on her wall!

Back to school theme LTC Challenges

Here is my example this week for over at Love to Create. We are being sponsored by Bugaboo images "love you guys" . I have also cut out the chalk board area and added DCWV new chalkboard  paper...it works great for this and you can personalize any way you want:)  The pen I used was one of my old school chalk pens and it does erase with water and I could write something different! AWESOME!

DCWV Autumn Melody LO challenges and more

Today is all about the stack titled Autumn Melody....This stack is truly perfect for all our fall needs . First I have a card i made with the Autumn Melody epoxy stickers set. Then I used some May Arts twine ribbon, Blumenthal Lansing buttons and it is all held sturdily together with Skor tape..whooo hooo!
